Up North Country Crafts is an exciting store featuring over 60 local Minnesota & Wisconsin artists and crafters.  We take great pride in the quality and variety of unique handmade items that are on display in our store.  Our artists and crafters put their heart and soul into creating heirloom quality, handcrafted items that you will be proud to own or share with others.  Check out our complete line of stained glass and fusing supplies.                                                         Up North Country Crafts is owned and operated by Diane Anderson.  Diane is a professional glass artist  who specializes in stained glass window panels, glass inserts, window repair, fused dishes, dichroic jewelry, kaleidoscopes, stepping stones, mosaics, wine bottle art, and glass wind chimes. Diane's other interests include crochet, knitting, felted purses, afghans, painting, beading, and wire wrapping. Diane's handcrafted items can be found throughout the store.         When people began losing their jobs due to the poor economy, Diane began encouraging artists to start their own entrepreneurships. She has consulted over 100 new artists and crafters  on how to become independent small business owners. The artists and crafters learn how to apply for tax numbers, claim an entity, market their products, represent themselves, and sell their own products. Diane also keeps artists informed on new business opportunities. Diane found out quickly she enjoyed working with the new artists and their amazing talents. She decided to open Up North Country Crafts to give the artists an opportunity to display their work in a comfortable store front
